Top Story:3-21-12: McLeod 2011 Merchant Discount Program: AFR has discontinue participating in the McLeod Merchant Discount Program for 2012. However if you have stayed with us before at check-in with your McLeod ID we will give you 5% discount. 1-21-11: New wireless Internet - Still offering free high speed plus users can purchase extra high speed access. As of August 2009, we now accept reservations from those 21 years of age or older. New lower price room now available for couples. King and Queen suite. 1 bed in a 2 room unit with kitchen, and sofa. The best comfort you will get away from home. The Pompano Cottage currently 1st and 2nd floor will be change to 2 separate Cottages. The Pompano will still be the 2nd floor. The Little Pompano on the 3rd floor will change it's name to Sailfish, and the 1st floor will now be the new unit called Mackerel. Children's Activity pool has been updated. It now has a new deck, freshly painted, and a new new toy to play with that dumps water. Dolphin, Marlin, Wahoo cottage and Children's activity pool will be open for the 2005 season. The Marlin and Wahoo cottage have already been updated with new carpet, paint.

Pet PolicyAffordable Family Resort Pet Policy (Revised 7/16/10) We do not rent units to those with Pitt Bull, or any dog that may look like a Pitt bull, Bull Mastiff, Doberman pinchers, and German Shepherds. Any pet acting aggressive to other guest and or staff can be asked to leave with no refund. No more than 2 pets per suite or cottage. 3rd pet found will be charge double and guest could be asked to leave without refund. All pet owners will clean up after pet anywhere on Affordable Family Resort property. Pet must be kept on leash when not in one of Affordable Family Resorts suites or cottages. No pets in any of the pool areas. This includes the pool. Any room with a pet left unattended will not be serviced, it is strongly suggested that you pet be in a kennel or carrier. Affordable Family Resort’s retains the right of entry to a suite or cottage in the event of any emergency.

Owners shall be subject to arrest and the dogs may be impounded. (b) It shall be unlawful for an owner or keeper of any animal to take or permit the animal onto the right of way of Ocean Boulevard between 21st Ave. North and 13th Ave. South during the period from March 1st to September 30th of each year, except for the purpose of direct and expeditious crossing of the right of way. Owners shall be subject to arrest and the animal may be impounded. We understand that you may not be able to board your
pet. So we offer a pet fee of $30.00 per pet per day. (September after Labor Day through March $15.00
per pet per night). Pets may not be left in the room unattended. Go to this link to review
the city of Myrtle Beach animal laws. Sec. 4-8 and Sec. 4-9 apply to
certain times.
